Terms of service
The rules for using ORYNX API keys and this website.
Last updated 20 September 2026
These terms apply to the ORYNX API (api.orynx.dev), this website and every sk-orynx- key issued by ORYNX. By
using a key you agree to them.
The service
ORYNX is an API gateway. It forwards your requests to third-party AI model providers and returns their answers in the OpenAI, Anthropic or Gemini API format. ORYNX does not train models and does not control what the models say.
Keys and credit
- Each key has an amount of prepaid credit, a validity period counted in days from the day it was issued, and the model families it may use.
- Requests are charged at the per-token price published for the model at the time of the request. Prices are shown on the Models page and in the docs, including any long-context or peak-hour tiers.
- Credit is tied to its key. Credit that is not used before the key expires lapses with the key.
- Keep your key secret. You are responsible for requests made with it. If a key is lost or exposed, ask the person or team who issued it to rotate it; the old secret stops working immediately.
Acceptable use
You must not use ORYNX to break the law, to harm others, to generate content that the model providers' usage policies forbid, or to attack, overload or probe ORYNX or its providers. You must not try to get around rate limits, credit limits or key restrictions. ORYNX may suspend a key that is used in breach of these rules.
Availability and changes
ORYNX works to keep the service available but offers no uptime guarantee. Models can be added, changed or retired, and prices can change when provider prices change. Price changes apply to new requests only and are announced on the News page.
Liability
The service is provided as is. Model output can be wrong, incomplete or offensive; check it before you rely on it. To the extent the law allows, ORYNX is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability is limited to the unused credit on the key concerned.
Changes to these terms
ORYNX may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use a key after a change means you accept the new terms.
